SKYLINE, C. 1960, oil on canvas by H. Berte. Framed 38" X 32". "He was born in Cap D'Antibes, Rivera, in 1912. He paints scenes of his beloved Mediterranean coastline as well as street scenes. He has recently started to paint skyline scenes and dancers. In this new technique he has become so proficient that these works now are in constant demand. To all of his work, he brings the color and temperament of the South of France where he resides."....Verso. C. 1960.
